West Island at AISMUN IX

This weekend 10 students from West Island took part in the AISMUN IX conference, hosted by the Australian International School.

Over three days of the conference there was plenty of intense debate, passionate defences of positions and innovative solutions proposed to some of the most pressing current Global Issues.

Special mention should go to Xiaxi Cai who received an honourable mention for his work defending Bolivia in the Security Council and Marcus Cheung who won the award for the most diplomatic delegate in the Human Rights Council.
