Welcoming New Families – Our aim is to make new families as comfortable as possible so we invite them to new parent’s events and coffee mornings and they can join year group WhatsApp groups to connect with other parents.
Teacher and Staff Appreciation – We held three events last year where parents expressed their gratitude towards teaching and non-teaching staff by providing snacks and drinks.

WIS PTA Shop
Donate Uniforms and Books: Good-conditioned, pre-loved WIS uniforms and set works or IB books are most welcome; you can drop them off at the school entrance during school hours.
The PTA no longer handles the sales of stationery and new school uniform items. The PTA sells second-hand uniform items and IB textbooks for cash or cheque.
Please note that new uniform sales are now online. To order new uniform items you can go to https://www.schooluniform.hk/ and choose West Island School. You can order and pay online and the uniform will be delivered to your door.
If you would like to see the uniform sizes, we have sample sizes of the new uniform in the PTA / WIS shop.
Parent workshops – The parent workshops include parents’ and alumni’s experiences The topic is “Parenting through the exam years”. You can get involved in the planning by suggesting new topics.
