Do you want to get fit and improve at your sport? Train intelligently.
West Island School is further developing their relationship with Strive Fitness, and offering our students a chance to join our new Wednesday programme as part of the Term 2 CAS activity programme.
Starting from the fundamentals, Strive will break down gym fitness and sports training into 3 main components – strength, movement & SAQ (speed, agility and quickness) and endurance. With these essential building blocks, students can improve at any age and at all sports!
Over the course of the term, we will cover 3 main building blocks – to build power, prevent injury, and help recovery and maintenance. There will also be a taster session on Friday 7th December at 7:00am in the Sports Hall so students can get an idea of what to expect if they get involved in the activity.
There are 40 places available. Term 2 CAS sign up opens on Friday 7th December at 6:00 pm.
Strive is considered a premier sports training facility, coaching internationally known athletes as well as Hong Kong’s Top Elite such as Tai Po soccer team and Li Kee, Captain of Eastern Basketball team. If that’s not enough, they also train major Asian celebrities such as Shawn Yue.
