An incredible day for WIS at ESF HK Run 2019!
West Island school had an impressive performance at the ESF HK Run 2019 last week.
Congratulations to Year 7 student Dylan Ellison who came first in his age group in the 3 km race, and to the B-Grade relay team for winning in their category. There was an impressive show of strength in depth across our Grades, with all teams dominating each leg of the race. And if people didn’t know the WIS Cross Country name before, they definitely do now! The strength of our performance was only topped by Vice Principal Mr Mike Williams who won the fastest ESF teacher title!
Student volunteers from WIS, on the other hand, did a fantastic job helping to run the WIS stall at the ESF HK Run. WIS student band “The Aces” added to the excitement in the air by performing during the event.
This was a great opportunity to support West Island and the wider ESF community, and our students did well. A big thank you to them for their enthusiastic support!
