WIS Staff Team Chase Everest!

On 1 October 2016, six ESF teachers will attempt to summit Mt. Everest climbing Mount Butler (Hong Kong Island) 44 times, a total of 227 kilometers. Five West Island School teachers, Mr Betteridge, Mr Bengey, Mr Williams, Mr Madden, Mr Cosentino and Mr Richardson from Kennedy School will take on the challenge.

Not only being intrigued by this idea, they will be riding for the Hong Kong Pistons Cycling Club and will be raising money for one of their school’s newest community partner projects; United World School Cambodia (UWS).

They will regularly log their intense training on the WIS Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, so log on and show your support to the team. Training starts soon, so watch his space!
