UK Education Roadshow by the British Council at WIS

UK Education Roadshow by the British Council, Hong Kong

Tuesday 19 September at West Island School, 12.00 – 14.00 pm

We are delighted to play hosts to 39 British universities on the above mentioned date, most of whom offer a wide range of subjects at undergraduate level.   We are also pleased to welcome the University of San Francisco and St George’s University, Grenada.

This is an opportunity to connect directly with a number of higher education establishments so we ask that students keep an open mind when visiting, and talk to a range of representatives to get a feel for the different offers and entrance requirements.  Of course, some students may wish to target specific places that are renowned for certain areas of study; the guide below will help them to do this.

Year 11 and Year 12 students

Special arrangements have been made for students in years 11 and 12 to attend some part of the roadshow during school time, given below. It is recommended that they use the opportunity to discuss the required IB/BTEC subject combinations and other entrance requirements for the degree programmes in which they may be interested.

  • Year 11 students: 12.00 – 12.40pm
  • Year 12 students: 12.45 – 13.20pm

Students of other years and all parents

All parents are welcome to attend from 12.00pm onwards and students from other years may (re)visit the roadshow at lunch.

The guide below is to help you navigate those universities with a reputation for particular areas of study. We are expecting a more detailed handout to be given out by the British Council on the day.

With our best wishes,

WIS Careers and Higher Education team
