Photography 4 Change

The final for a student-organized photography competition open to secondary students in all ESF schools is being held this September. Organised as a part of ESF’s 50th-anniversary celebrations, “Photography 4 Change” aims to not only give students a chance to further their photography skills but also to have us consider how this medium can influence social change.

The theme for this year’s event is DIVERSITY, something which student organisers feel is important to not only understand but also embrace. The idea of ‘Diversity’ can be interpreted as both subjective and objective. Some examples that may be exhibited can range from the ethnicities of people to the to the constant fight between nature and architecture.

Finalists selected from each of the ESF schools feature in the event, which will be held at ESF centre. A judging panel made up of industry professionals and artists will decide on final placements, with winners announced on the evening.

The final of “Photography 4 Change” will be held on September 21, starting from 5:00 pm and ending at 7:00 pm, at ESF centre, 25th Floor, 1063 King’s Rd, Quarry Bay.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
