WIS Chef 2017 Semi Finals

The WIS Chef 2017 Semi Finals took place on Tuesday 25 April.   The kitchens were steaming with lots of energy, ideas and creativity.  28 students fought it out and within a two hour period presented two restaurant standard dishes made from scratch.  It was a taste sensation, just food heaven.  Judging with me were Clara Cheung, our new Food Technician and our Business Manager extraordinaire, Michelle Stokes; both with an eye for detail and who know their food.

After much deliberation, the following students will now be competing on the 9 May (Juniors) and 15 May (Seniors) at the WIS Chef 2017 Final.  The winners of the Senior and Junior Rounds will go onto to represent West Island School as the ESF Chef 2017 Championships on 26 May 2017.
