Turning the Tide – University Admissions Supporting CAS

A report from Harvard School of Education is supported by 80 US stakeholders in college admissions. It recommends a shift towards valuing community and family much more highly and moving away from an over-reliance on academics and standardized testing. It represents a real culture shift and ties in very strongly with West Island Schools CAS program and more specifically, the CAS project. No doubt this emphasis on personal growth and contribution to the local and global community will spread worldwide in the near future.

It is an interesting and uplifting 10 minute read. Please click here to read the report.
