Cardiff Medicine and Health Sciences Talk at WIS

Over the years, we’ve seen a steady increase in the number of our students gain offers from Cardiff medicine – an excellent medical school.
West Island School is delighted to welcome Katie Jones, International Officer at Cardiff University, on Monday 25 February, from 1:20 pm to 2:00 pm at the 5/F Well-being Area, to talk about the study opportunities available to international students in undergraduate medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, radiography and other health and biosciences.

In addition, Katie’s talk will cover international student quotas and work placement during and post medical training. West Island School students and parents of all years are welcome to attend the talk. Given the strong track record of WIS medics in gaining offers from Cardiff in past years, we anticipate Katie’s talk to generate a high level of interest.

Cardiff’s medical school is at the forefront of world-class research in cancer and genetics, infection and immunity, clinical neuroscience and population medicine. The University is ranked #145 in the 2019 QS World University Rankings and is #32 in The Times Good University Guide National Index, 2019.

Reservation for this event is required. Please RSVP here for the event.

Please note that there is no parking available for this event at WIS.

Thank you.
