ISSF meet results, ESF Gala date change, HWI Sprint Meet

An excellent week of swimming at WIS with seven Swim Meets being held at the school pool.

On Tuesday the U12 and 14 won the ISSF  ‘mini meet’ as did the U16 and U20 teams on Thursday.

There were five Inter Dynasty Swim Meets from Year 7 to Year 11 and the performance and participation was impressive.  Results will be out soon and the finals take place on September 28.  Thank you to all staff and parents for helping and spectating and to HWI for organising the officials.

The ESF Swim Gala date has changed – it will now be September 22, 2- 4.30pm at South Island School.

All training sessions have been pleasingly busy.  Remember the morning sessions, Tuesday – Friday, 7-8am are open to all and have two excellent coaches taking the sessions.  Take the opportunity and get ready for the ID Finals – starts, turns technique and fitness – just do it!!
