We would like to remind all Year 9 parents that this is a good time to start thinking about your child’s laptop choice.
Please note that unless your child was a late entrant to the school, the accidental damage policy and loaner laptop support programme that you purchased bundled together with your child’s school laptop in Year 7 will expire at the end of this academic year.
Importantly this means that from the start of the next academic year your child’s current West Island School laptop will no longer be supported by the West Island School Service Desk, nor will your child be able to borrow a loaner laptop from the school.
For seamless continuity in your child’s laptop use, West Island School strongly urges you to replace your child’s current laptop with the next generation of school laptop. The laptop was chosen after a comprehensive testing and tender process, overseen by the School Council.
