WIS at Island School’s Kings of Concrete Event
It is an annual tradition for WIS to enter teams into the Kings Of Concrete Volleyball Competition held by Island School every December. As volleyball is a growing sport at WIS, this year we entered a total of 8 out of 20 teams into the tournament. WIS teams performed very well at the tournament, even up against college students and HK Division 1 League members.
Held at the Outdoor Courts, 30 students, a team made up of WIS Alumni and a staff team took part in the 4-on-4 tournament on Saturday 12 December. In the end, the staff team placed 3rd overall in the tournament and the students did really well.
Everyone enjoyed the day and gained tremendous amount of experience.
Our thanks to all the staff, students and ex WIS’ers who took part and represented the school so well.
