Nicolas Yu shines in the world of Performing Arts!

WIS Year 9 student Nicolas Yu has made a mark in the world of Performing Arts with his passion for Ballet! He was accepted in the ‘Gifted Young Dancer Program’ at the Academy of Performing Arts last year.

His most recent performance was ‘Alice in Wonderland’ with the HK Ballet, following which he has been invited to follow the Company to perform the show in Taipei end of November this year. From the ‘Sound of Music’ in Macau to ‘Priscilla The Queen of Desert’,and ‘Evita’ in Hong Kong, Nicolas has performed in many National Musical Shows!!

This talented young boy has been practicing Ballet since he was three years old, and soon realized that he had the potential to do well! Support from his teachers and parents, and numerous performances saw Nicolas not only grow in his confidence over time, but also excelled in this aesthetic form of art.
