Ming: Winner of Inter-Dynasty Math Competition 2018!

Wednesday 3 October saw the return of Inter-Dynasty Math Competition at WIS, where six dynasties took to the Sports Hall to participate in a battle of speed and mathematical processing!

Two teams from each Dynasty representing each year group competed to answer as many questions correctly on all things Math, and build up their Dynasty scores. Students took part in a highly energised and positively enthralling battle of Mathematical ability, that involved adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, sweating and gasping, and ultimately a whole load of teamwork!

There were also additional tutor group math activities, as well as Dynasty spirit points, that added to the overall ID math scores of the teams. Through a combined effort from all year groups Ming went on to become the winners of WIS ID Competition 2018, followed by Han and Qing in 2nd and 3rd positions respectively!

Well done to all participants and the Math teachers for controlling the answers under strict regulations. A great atmosphere from the whole school and we look forward to next year’s competition already!
