Holocaust Survivor Eva Schloss at WIS

West Island School were very lucky to welcome Auschwitz survivor, Anne Frank’s stepsister and internationally renowned peace activist and author, Mrs Eva Schloss MBE.

Mrs Schloss shared her remarkable story of life before the war, how she survived Birkenau-Auschwitz and how she rebuilt her life after she was liberated from the camp. Students were then able to speak to Mrs Schloss and ask her questions. Students and staff were moved by her riveting story and were grateful to have had this incredible experience.
