ESF Biathlon Championships 2019

The ESF Biathlon Championships took place at KGV School on Friday 21 June.

Due to the hot and humid weather the run was reduced which did not go down well with the four WIS teams.

Having started training in early May it was a good WIS squad, although each team lost a key member due to sickness/ injury.

The team results:

Year 7 Girls – WIS second

Year 7 Boys – WIS first

Year 8 Girls – WIS second

Year 8 Boys – WIS second

Overall – First KGV,  Runners Up WIS

Jaden Engstrom Vallejo, Barnaby Tibbatts and Juliana Macalpin were victorious in their individual races.

Congratulations to everyone in the squad, thanks to the Year 9 student coaches (Ella, Maddie, Sofia, Greta, Rowan and Theo), the parent supporters and Mr Madden for making it a great experience and occasion.
