WIS-Fit Challenge 2017 comes to an end

A huge congratulations to all of our WIS students who took part in our very first WIS-Fit Challenge 2017.

The challenge began back in January 2017 and finished on Friday 31 March. The challenge was designed to give students an opportunity to engage in regular, enjoyable and monitored exercise to improve their personal health and fitness levels.

Each week students were presented with a week of activity challenges. The aim was to achieve as many fitness points as you can through attendance and achievement at WIS Fitness opportunities and personal fitness sessions. The aim through commitment and personal improvement was to accumulate as many points as possible, with the top ten fitness fanatics being rewarded with some fantastic prizes, including Garmin GPS watches, North Face technical running shoes and various other amazing prizes.

Over 60 students entered and 46 finished the challenge. Also, a huge well done to our top ten finishers who were awarded during our Sports Awards are on Wednesday 19 April for their outstanding commitment to personal improvement.
