WIS CHEF 2017

Get your cooking genes in gear!  Open to ALL year groups.  

  • Years 7 – 9 are permitted to work in pairs (you can be from different Dynasties).  Years 10 -13 must work individually. 
  • Submit a photo of your dish.  It must be all your own work.
  • Deadline for submission: Wednesday 1st March 2017.
  • You will be notified of the outcome by Friday 3rd March 2017.
  • If you are successful, you will be invited to the WIS Chef Quarter Finals on 7th March 2017, 3.30pm start, where you will have to prepare and cook dish you presented in your photo.

You need to…

  1. Cook your dish at home.  Your dish must be noodle or pasta based.
  2. Take a photograph and cut and paste it on the form attached.
  3. Write a short description of the dish.
  4. Complete the details box clearly stating which Dynasty/Dynasties you are in.
  5. Print entry sheet – download from here. Get signature from parent or guardian to verify this is your own practical work and pass this onto Mrs Craig or send electronically to jenny.craig@wis.edu.hk

If successful, applicants will be expected to cook the same dish for the judges, using their own ingredients brought in from home. This will be done in the Food Technology Room after school from 3.30 – 5.00pm on Tuesday 7th March 2017.
