The annual Swimming Gala and Sports Festival took place on Thursday 28 September 2017.
A keen and enthusiastic group of WIS’ finest swimmers lined the pavements for the short journey to Stanley Ho swimming pool. After some excellent performances throughout the morning, it was a closely contested competition this year. Dynasty spirit was vocal throughout and every student took advantage of the Dynasty ‘swim for a point’ event. The staff relay proved a hit with the students, with some excellent performances from the WIS teaching staff.
Meanwhile, on the pitches of Sandy Bay this year’s Sports Festival got underway. There were some welcome additions to the program, with new activities and a well-being strands introduced. Again, Dynasty spirit was high, and a fun and competitive environment was enjoyed by all of our Year 10-13 students.
This year’s results are detailed below:
Once again, this year’s Swim Gala & Sports Festival was a great opportunity for our students to enjoy a wonderful atmosphere, as well as highlighting the WIS student spirit.
Well done to everyone who was involved in this year’s event.
