Jeremy Rossman at WIS

On Wednesday 22 June, WIS hosted Jeremy Rossman, founder of Make School, who spoke to students at length about his conceptual school based on project learning. Rossman, who is touring around Asia with hopes to bring Make School to the continent, explained to WIS students the need for education to not only be holistic, but encompassing of techniques and skills.

Since its inception in 2012, Make School has gone on to make waves around the United States. It looks to become an alternative to traditional computer science educations offered by top universities and offers a number of online and offline classes that teaches programming skills and how to build tech projects. Jeremy went on to talk about how graduates end up with well-paying jobs at start up tech companies around the world.

This summer, your child can be a part of the Make School revolution by enrolling in the Make School Summer Academy in Hong Kong. More details are available here.

Thank you to Jeremy for coming down to WIS and inspiring students to work hard and follow their pathways!
