INTER-DYNASTY CROSS-COUNTRY 2017
The moment WIS runners had been waiting for! West Island School’s Inter-Dynasty Cross Country event was held on Wednesday 11 October 2017.
With the continued unusually hot weather for this time of the year, running conditions were tough. However that was not enough to discourage our Dynasties, with fantastic numbers taking on the challenge of the WIS Cross Country course. A 2.7km run including some tough terrain and the famous ‘WIS Escalator’ to finish; each year group and Dynasty battled it out to be crowned this year’s Inter-Dynasty Cross Country Champions 2017!
It was great to see so many students involved this year, from seasoned runners, right through to those students taking part to ensure their Dynasty got as many points as possible and show their Dynasty spirit, with every runner contributing to the Dynasty.
