Activities

Creativity, Action and Service are the three different categories of co-curricular activities that we are involved in.  All students at WIS are expected to be involved in weekly co-curricular activities as part of their CAS Programme.

CAS can be all the activities that you are involved in both inside and outside school, as well Horizons Week.

CAS Targets:

Students who achieve or exceed their CAS target will receive an ROA for their involvement.

Year 7 & 8 – By the end of the school year, you are expected to have been involved in at least two activities of two different activity categories. Eg one ‘creative’ activity and one ‘action’ activity and to have completed 3 out of the 7 CAS Goals. 

Year 9 – By the end of the school year, you are expected to have been involved in at least three different activities, from at least two different activity categories. Eg one ‘creative’ activity and two ‘action’ activities and have completed 4 out of the 7 CAS Goals.

Year 10 & 11 - By the end of the school year (or by end of Term 2 for Year 11), you are expected to have been involved in at least three different activities, with at least one activity in each activity category. Eg one ‘creative’ activity, one ‘action’ activity and one ‘service’ activity.  You are also expected to have completed 5 of the 7 CAS Goals.
